Hyundai Reveals Its 2015 i20 Prior To Launch
South Korean car manufacturer Hyundai has revealed it will be launching a new and refreshed i20 model for India. The manufacturer has now revealed to us the sketch of what to expect from the 2015 i20. The new hatchback is more premium compared to the outgoing model.
The 2015 i20 is being designed by Hyundai Motor's Design Centre Europe in Russelsheim, Germany. The premium hatchback will be premiered globally at the Mondial de l'Automobile 2014, which will be held in Paris in October.

Hyundai has not revealed the engines that will power the 2015 i20 in India. Currently the South Korean manufacturer offers a 1.2-litre and a 1.4-litre motor in India. We expect the car maker will use the same engine that powers the current generation i20.

Hyundai 2015 i20 sports a hexagonal front grille, along with a horizontal strip connecting the headlights. Towards the rear the hatchback gets wraparound rear glass, and a redesigned bootlid with tail lamps integrated into it. The new i20 will sport the Fluidic design language specific to Hyundai vehicles.

The new i20 has been spied in India on several occasions. From what we have noticed is that there is very minute changes from the sketch to the real deal. The hatchback looks edgy and radical, however, it still maintains its elegance and unique character amongst its other competitors.

When launched the 2015 i20 will compete against the likes of Volkswagen Polo, Maruti Suzuki Swift, Fiat Punto Evo and Honda's Jazz. The interior of Hyundai i20 will be spruced up with goodies to get an edge over the competition. We expect the fully loaded 2015 i20 to cost approximately INR 8,50,000 ex-showroom.
