Hyundai i20 Facelift Launching In November 2014
The South Korean manufacturer of four wheelers Hyundai has been providing Indians with several cars for a long period now. They sell the i20 hatchback in India which, is very popular among the buyers. They have now decided to give the i20 a facelift. Hyundai plan to launch the new facelifted i20 in November this year.
The South Korean hatchback has been caught testing in India several times over the past few months. Since, Indian buyers are very picky in purchasing a car. Hyundai plan to launch the i20 hatchback during the festive season to make it more auspicious for buyers.
Hyundai have recently launched their new Xcent which, has been well appreciated by the masses. It was launched during the 2014 Auto Expo held in New Delhi. They had told us then that the new i20 is slated for an early 2015 launch. However, the South Korean manufacturer has decided to change their plans and will be launching the hatchback in the upcoming months.
Hyundai is expected to unveil the new i20 for 2014 at the Paris Motor Show which, will be held in October. Soon after that we expect the car will be launched in India and subsequent markets. The South Korean manufacturer gave their hatchback a thorough facelift back in 2012.
The i20 boasts of modern and stylish exterior design owing to the fluidic design concept of Hyundai. The hatchback also is the leader in its segment in every aspect. We will be waiting to see how the manufacturer makes a good looking vehicle even better.
Hyundai will not be tampering with the engine and will offer similar drivetrain to the previous generation i20. It will sport a 1.5-litre diesel mill along with a petrol 1.2-litre Kappa engine. The engines will be mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox and Hyundai will also offer an automatic option.
Hyundai will manufacture the new i20 in India and will export it to international shores. The 2014 Hyundai i20 will sport a fluidic design along with taller stance compared to the current model. We expect it to look more aggressive than the outgoing model. Be prepared to shell out more money for the 2014 i20 model.
