Hover Automotive Files Legal Action Against Nissan
Nissan India and Hover Automotive will resolve their issue in a legal court room.
Hover Automotive had a contract exclusively to sell, market and distribute Nissan vehicles for India.
The Japanese car manufacturer however terminated its contract with Hover Automotive, which in turn have filed for legal action against Nissan India.

Nissan terminated its contract on 14th February, 2014, with Hover Automotive, which has lasted for 6 years.
"Nissan is now at a point of maturity in India where the time is right to establish our own marketing and distribution operations," explained Kenichiro Yomura, Nissan President, India Operations.

He further added, "Nissan's priority will be to ensure a smooth transition from current operations. We remain committed to our customers and will continue to deliver high quality products and services."
Hover denied termination of agreement and will utilise legal action to have the termination reversed.

Hover though did not disclose, in which court the case has been filed. Hover explains it has a binding legal distribution agreement with Nissan and termination of contract will breach the agreement.
Nissan has decided they will be no longer associated with Hover Automotive. However, Hover explains they will manage Nissan operations until an ultimatum is reached.
