Honda Recalls Odyssey Van In United States
Honda is among the most trusted brands across the globe in four wheelers as well as two wheelers. The Japanese car manufacturer will be recalling 9 lakh of their Odyssey vans in United States.
Honda explains there was some problem with Odyssey vans built in Alabama between the years 2005 and 2010. The problem is believed to be with a fuel pump part, which could break and cause an accident.

The recall notice was posted by US National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, this Friday. Honda hasn't heard of any accidents, so far, this is a preventive measure.
The Japanese car manufacturer has done their own investigation on possibilities for the issue. They believe it could be acid from chemicals used during washing of the car. They also think low PH materials in fertilizers and dust control agents could cause damages.

Honda had acquired the fuel pump components from a Japanese company called Denso, claimed Honda.
The Japanese car manufacturer won't be able to provide all the cars with new fuel pumps in a short period. It will provide Odyssey van owners with interim parts and will notify customers in April.
