Honda CR-V Diesel Variant Launched In Australia
Honda launched the CR-V Diesel variant in Australia and the Japanese SUV costs 38,220 AUD, excluding taxes.
The CR-V features rearview camera, rear parking sensors, automatic headlights and windscreen wipers, auto dimming rearview mirror, dual-zone climate control, auto up/down power windows, satellite navigation system, leather wrapped steering wheel and 17-inch alloy wheels, amongst others. All of which come standard in the car.
A 2.2 liter four-cylinder direct injected turbo diesel will produce 110 kW and 350 Nm of torque and mated to 6 speed manual transmission. However, a 5 speed automatic will be available as an option and will cost 40,590 AUD.
There will be two trims to consider DTi-S and the DTi-L. If you consider the DTi-L, which is the fully loaded version, the car will cost a minimum of 45,340 AUD.
The CRV will deliver an average fuel consumption of 5.8L / 100 km in the DTi-S manual. While the automatic option will consume 6.7L / 100 km.
