Honda India Recalls Accord & CR-V Made In 2003
Honda had earlier announced a global recall for certain products due to a faulty airbag. In that recall they had included a few vehicles that were launched in India too. Now Honda Cars India Ltd (HCIL) has confirmed they will have to recall another batch of vehicles to replace the inflator of the passenger side airbag.
The vehicles in question are 1,085 Honda Accord, which were manufactured in 2003. 252 models of the Honda CR-V manufactured in 2003, along with one model of the CR-V that was manufactured in 2002.
The Japanese manufacturer claims this to be a preventive replacement for the passenger side airbag inflator. Honda has issued the recall for other global models of Accord and the CR-V back in June.
