Gautam Singhania Secures Double Win In NGK Racing Series
The NGK Racing Series commenced its 2014 to 2015 championship at the Yas Marina Circuit in Abu Dhabi. It was an interesting outing as several superiors took to the track. It was also a great battle in UAE Touring Cars class, along with Clio Cup Race, which witnessed a race within a race.
India's Gautam Singhania took part in the race, he is a promoter of drifting in India. He regularly takes time out of his busy schedule to promote supercar brands. Super Car Club has promoted and launched various activities in India, he is the co-founder of this club.
At the recent NGK Racing Series there were McLaren, Ferrari and Porsche competing intensively with each other. It was a great outing for the Indian racer as he secured a double win. Gautam Singhania was competing in his Dragon Racing Ferrari.
Coming home in second place was Fred Fatien in the second sister Ferrari vehicle. Third place was held on to by Porsche's Bashar Mardini. The order stayed same for both races with Singhania being on the top step twice.
The Touring Car race was also held and Gulf Petrochem Team witnessed a decent outing. Costas Papantonis topped Class one driving a Seat in both races. Alexandros and Constantinos ,the Annivas brothers secured first and second place in UAE Touring Car and Clio Cup race.
The next round of NGK Racing series will be held on 14th November, 2014. It will take place in Dubai's Autodrome and it will be interesting to see if Gautam Singhania can recreate his magic in round two.
