Formula One Ferrari Team Principal Quits
Ferrari isn't performing as expected in 2014 Formula One World Championship. They haven't won a single race nor have the achieved a pole position in a long time. This situation has never arisen for the Prancing Horse team.
The Italian manufacturer is attempting everything possible to see a change in fortune. In an attempt for positive change, Ferrari has asked its Formula One team principal Stefano Domenicali to step down. He will be replaced by current president and CEO of Ferrari North America, Marco Mattiacci.

Ferrari has not won a race in almost a year now and has lost the battle with Red Bull Racing for the last four years. Scuderia Ferrari has the best drivers behind the wheel, however, the entire package has suffered this year owing to rule changes in development and engines.
The team that has benefited the most with all the changes is Mercedes AMG Petronas and its drivers Lewis Hamilton and Nico Rosberg. The other teams that use Mercedes powered engines are doing well too.

Scuderia Ferrari has the most star studded drivers in their team, and they have been driving the wheels off the Ferrari. But the entire package keeps letting them down and it is visible both drivers aren't happy with their cars.
Ferrari have confirmed they cannot compete with Mercedes in this year's championship and will try to establish themselves as the second best team. It still looks difficult with a strong performing Force India outfit.
The next F1 race will be held over the weekend at China. It will be no surprise if a Mercedes powered car wins, but Ferrari need to react now. Let's wait and watch.
