Formula E: First 10 Race Cars Delivered To Teams
Only time will tell what the future of motoracing holds. While Formula 1, the epitome of racing has received a major shift towards hybridization (and has been criticised for doing so), Formula E aims to popularize the idea of all-electric car racing, while also contributing towards development of electric car technology.
Reminding us that the debut season of Formula E is nearing, yesterday, the teams received the first batch of Formula E Spark-Renault SRT_01E race cars.

Ten of these open-wheeled electric racers were delivered, one for each time, while three additional cars will be delivered to each team by July 15.
As the name states, Formula E cars have been built by Spark and Renault, while McLaren and Williams are responsible for making these cars tick.
Designed to travel at speeds in excess of 240 km/h, Formula E races will be held in street circuits, in various cities across the world.
Formula E testing is set to begin at Donington Park, UK from July 3, and the first race of the inaugural season will take place in Beijing on September 13.
