Formula 1 To Get Two New Teams In 2015
Two new teams are most likely to join the current 11 team strong Formula 1 motor racing championship in 2015, Bernie Ecclestone more or less confirmed, last Saturday.
The first of the two is a team led by American Gene Haas who already owns a successful NASCAR team Stewart-Haas Racing. The inclusion of this team is more or less confirmed, with only a formal announcement pending.
A team led by former HRT boss Colin Kolles is expected to become the 13th team in the grid. The inclusion of this team, however, is still not confirmed.

"Yeah, they [Gene Haas's team] will be accepted," Ecclestone confirmed when asked by reporters. "We have also accepted another team as well. Whether they will make it or not is another story," he added.
"We are happy to have another couple of teams. I have spoken to Jean Todt and we agreed yesterday that if another two teams want to come in we will let them in."
An official confirmation by FIA is yet to be made about the expansion of Formula 1 grid by two new teams. A final announcement is likely to take time.
