Ford Mustang Celebrates 50 Years
Ford will be celebrating their 50th anniversary on 16th and 17th of April. They will be showcasing their all-new Mustang, which has been in continuous production.
Ford will be unveiling their new Mustang atop the Empire State Building. This is the very same place Ford showcased their first Mustang.
The new Mustang cannot be taken to the top in one piece, so a skilled team by Ford is disassembling the new convertible. They can then take it part by part by elevator to the 86th floor of the Empire State Building in New York.

The 2014 Mustang is 180mm longer and 100mm wider than the earlier generation models. The skilled workers from Ford are measuring twice and disassembling only how much is necessary.
The parts will then be taken up via custom-made racks, which can be rolled into the Empire State Building elevators.
After the parts reach the 86th floor, Ford's skilled team will have less than six hours to assemble the car back.

Fans and Ford loyalist can experience the Mustang on 16th and 17th of April. They will be allowed between 08:00 and 14:00.
There will also be enthusiasts from around 16 countries of the world. Mustang Club of America will be arranging 'Pony Drives', so Mustang owners can travel together in groups.
The 2014 Mustang will feature a 2.3-litre, turbocharged EcoBoost engine along with a 5.0-litre V8 engine producing 426PS.
Ford claims their new Mustang to be the most advanced version so far. The new Mustang will be available in Europe for sale in 2015.
