Ford Launches 2014 Endeavour For India
Ford India has launched its refreshed Endeavour for 2014. The 2014 model retains its sporty, tough and attractive appeal. Ford have priced their SUV at an attractive price of INR 19,83,898 (ex-showroom Delhi).
The 2014 Endeavour will combine great looks with exceptional off-road capabilities. The new model will sport a fresh looking front end thanks to a redesigned and bold looking grille along with new headlights.
Ford have also given the interiors of the 2014 Endeavour a makeover and will have a more modern look to them now. The American company will offer the all-terrain SUV in three options. The base variant will offer smart features and will be value for money.
Present at the launch was Nigel Harris, President Ford India, who said, "At Ford, we are committed to delighting customers through continuous improvements in our products. Endeavour is a trusted nameplate and holds a special place in Ford India's product portfolio."
He also stated, "It has remained a vehicle of choice for customers who desire a dependable, muscular, rugged yet comfortable and safe SUV. The 2014 Ford Endeavour has been made more stylish, dynamic and comfortable while retaining its core DNA of an all-terrain vehicle."
The 2014 Endeavour will have three engine options - the base variant will be a 2.5-litre TDCi Duratorq engine with a 4X2 manual transmission. The base variant of Ford's new Endeavour will cost INR 19,83,898 (ex-showroom Delhi).
Their second option will be a bigger 3.0-litre TDCi Duratorq engine with a 4X2 automatic gearbox. The top variant will sport the same engine with a 4X4 automatic transmission. They will cost INR 21,28,119 (ex-showroom Delhi) and INR 23,06,302 (ex-showroom Delhi) respectively.
Ford's new Endeavour will sport three rows of seats and will have ample amount of legroom between each row. They have also introduced new comfortable leather seats. It will feature the latest SATNAV entertainment system along with navigation. It will also sport bluetooth audio controls and reverse parking camera.
The 2014 Endeavour has become more luxurious than the earlier versions of the American SUV. The SUV will appeal to those who want a vehicle for normal days and a genuine off-road machine on the weekends.
