Ford Ka Compact Sedan Auto Expo 2014 Reveal Expected
Ford has confirmed that it will bring the Ka concept to the Auto Expo 2014, which is originally a hatchback concept. However, we suspected that the Ka concept debuting in India would be a compact sedan instead of the hatchback.
Now, a report on Autocar also claims the Ford concept car whose global premier will be held in India will be a compact sedan model. The compact sedan will actually be based off the hatchback concept that was showcased last year in Brazil.

This sub-4 meter Ford compact sedan will be launched in India first, likely in 2015, when it will replace the existing Ford Classic sedan. Eventually, the current Figo model will also be replaced by the hatchback version of the Ka concept, which is in fact the next-gen Figo.

The next gen Figo and its compact sedan variant are built on the B2E platform, which is the same that's used by the EcoSport. According to the report, Ford's first compact sedan model will be powered by the 1.0 liter EcoBoost engine and the 1.5 liter DV5 turbo diesel unit.
