Ford EcoSport To Keep You Cool As A Cucumber

In today's day and age, travelling anywhere is difficult in extreme climates. If it were possible, we would not mind carrying an air conditioner everywhere we went. Now while we can't go everywhere in a cool environment, we can sure travel in a 'cool' vehicle like the Ford EcoSport.

The Ford EcoSport has an air conditioner with climate control and can come very handy during the hot Indian summer. It has been noted that a car parked under no shade can reach to temperatures as high as 70 degree Celsius. With the help of Ford's advanced climate control it only takes ten minutes to bring the temperature back to a much bearable 30 degree Celsius.

Paul Merlo, climate control supervisor, Ford South America explains, "The system is designed to cool down the vehicle very fast at maximum fan and air velocity. This performance allows you to reduce the blower fan speed (and airflow) quicker and allow the customer to maintain comfort in a quieter environment."

Ford uses an energy efficient variable compressor technology, which helps the climate control system to use less power and not affect the fuel economy extensively. This provides a more relaxed environment for the passengers with the added incentive that the fuel consumption won't be affected greatly.

Ford have provided the EcoSport with an oil separator for its variable compressor thus, increasing efficiency when used. The climate control system is different from the traditional units that run the air conditioner at its max output.

The system is being paid attention by Ford engineers and will only improve further. The American based company makes sure you're cool as a cucumber in the summer without visiting the fuel station often. So if you want to be cool and travel in the same manner, we don't know of any other vehicle than Ford's EcoSport.
