Ford CEO Alan Mulally To Retire On 1st Of July
Ford Motors has confirmed their CEO, Alan Mulally will be calling an end to his career on the 1st of July, 2014. The American-based company will be led by Mark Fields, who will become the next CEO and President of Ford.
Mark Fields has been credited for the North American transformation which was witnessed in 2005. He previously held the post of Chief Operating Officer since 2012.
Ford believes the change in leadership will not affect their current process as the change was planned long ago and will not cause any ripples.

Mark Fields has been working with the American motoring company for over 25 years. He has worked in different parts of the world and has revived several of their operations. Bill Ford, Executive Chairman of Ford Believes Fields is ready to steer the company into the future.
Alan Mulally has been the CEO of Ford Motors for a term of eight years and has been credited for the transformation as well as cementing the brand's foothold as a powerful global brand.

Ford recorded 19 consecutive quarters in which they reported profits and also further strengthened their product lineup. The American company witnessed the biggest global expansion over the last 50 years.
Mark Fields is currently leading Ford's manufacturing, product development, purchasing, marketing, sales and service as well as global business operations. Alan Mulally will be retiring from Ford much earlier than anticipated.
