Force India Could Be The Team To Beat In 2014

By Ajinkya

Force India is proving their decision to continue racing will pay them dividends. They have posted the fastest time in the final practice of the year before The Australian Grand Prix.

The Australian GP commences from 14th - 16th March, Force India has however, left everyone in their dust. The like of Ferrari and Red Bull have not been able to match the pace of the Force India.

Sergio Perez was the man to beat in the Force India at Bahrain. He did this twice in a row, proving it wasn't a fluke. The Mexican speared ahead going around for over 100 laps.

Fernando Alonso, driving for Ferrari was second fastest and not far away from the Mexican's pace. In third place was Daniel Ricciardo. Sebastian Vettel's new team mate.

Felipe Massa continued with his good show by posting the fourth fastest time in his Williams. Lewis Hamilton had nothing in particular to boast about with a seventh fastest time.

It would still be foolish to count out the Red Bull of Vettel. We all know how he likes to play the under dog and win. It would be interesting though to see the outcome at the Australian GP, which is soon arriving.
