Fiat Avventura Bookings On A Rise
Italian automobile giant Fiat has recently launched its first crossover in India. The global product has been designed in Italy and engineered in India. Fiat claims their Avventura will be delivered to customers in the following weeks.
Fiat is calling their Avventura as its Contemporary Urban Vehicle. The manufacturer has priced its vehicle at an attractive price of INR 5,99,064 to INR 8,17,065 ex-showroom, Delhi. Dealers across India claim that they have received several inquiries and over 500 bookings so far.
The Avventura is based on Fiat's Punto Evo hatchback that is sold in India. The crossover has improved ground clearance and larger dimensions compared to its younger sibling. Features too have been increased with the new model by Fiat.
Fiat India has provided its Avventura with both petrol and diesel engine options.
The petrol powered vehicle sports a 1368cc FIRE engine, which is capable of producing 115 Nm of peak torque, along with maximum power of 89 bhp. Fiat claim ARAI fuel efficiency figures of 14.4 kpl.
Fiat have used their popular 1248cc MULTIJET diesel mill, which generates 93 bhp of maximum power with 197 Nm of peak torque. The Avventura diesel claims fuel efficiency figures of 20.5 kpl certified by ARAI.
Both petrol and diesel engine have been paired with a 5-speed manual gearbox. Power is sent to the front wheels, so off-roading is out of the question. Fiat will also provide its crossover with 16-inch alloy wheels as standard equipment, along with aluminium roof rails.
The Avventura is available in a wide range of colour options. Fiat provides Bronzo Tan, Exotica Red, Hip-Hop Black, Minimal Grey, Vocal Grey and Zafferano Orange. The exterior also gets black body plastic panels to make the crossover more beefy than it already is.
Fiat's Avventura has received several bookings since its launch, which is good news for the manufacturer. The Italian crossover will compete with the Volkswagen Cross Polo and Toyota Etios Cross.
