Fiat 500X & Jeep Renegade Not Coming To India
Fiat has planned to launch various products and even give their current line of vehicles a facelift. The Italian automobile company plans to launch over 12 products in the coming five years. We are disappointed to know that they won't be getting the Fiat 500X and Jeep Renegade to India anytime soon.
The Italian automobile giant will be launching these compact SUVs only in developed markets and will be available by the end of 2014. The Indian market has shown that it has a great appetite for compact SUVs and Fiat will be offering a special product for developing markets like India.
Fiat will offer their Punto-based compact SUV in India under the garb on the Avventura. The Italian manufacturer explains that the compact SUV for India will be available by the end of this year.
The Avventura has been doing a tour around India and Fiat has been showcasing their new compact SUV and learning a lot about what the people need. The Avventura broke cover at the 2014 Auto Expo held in February at Greater Noida, New Delhi.
Fiat's Avventura will take the competition to current segment favourite Ford EcoSport, the Renault Duster and the newly launched Toyota Etios Cross. The Italian manufacturer will provide their compact SUV with a 1.3-litre diesel Mulltijet engine along with a 1.4-litre petrol powered engine.
Fiat have already provided a facelift for their Linea and the next car on their upgrade list is the Punto, which is expected to get significant changes to the exterior.
