The first pre-season test of 2014 took place at Jerez in Spain. In a bizarre turn of events former Ferrari driver Felipe Massa, now racing for Williams turned out on the top of timing sheet. The Brazilian racer churned out 50 plus laps in the Mercedes powered car.
Fernando Alonso, kept his Ferrari for most of the day ahead of every other team in respect to race pace. The Spaniard completed a phenomenal 114 laps in his Prancing Horse.

The other surprise came in from the third racer in the timesheet, test driver for Sahara Force India Daniel Juncadella. So, from this we can expect the Indian owned team to be classified higher in the points this year.
