the teams have scrapped their last years cars and all teams have begun from the ground up.
The FIA made this decision in the interest of the sport, to equal the play field among teams. It was noticed certain teams had additional technology and were way ahead of the others.

Saturday Qualifying is done and it had many ups and downs, with Sebastian Vettel not entering Q3 at all. The German's Australian teammate Daniel Ricciardo qualified for the first time in second Position, just behind Lewis Hamilton on pole in his Mercedes.
Nico Rosberg finished third and was followed by rookie McLaren driver Kevin Magnussen. Ferrari's Spanish ace Fernando Alonso secured fifth position, while his teammate the 'Flyin Finn' crashed and could only manage 12th position.
Force India duo had varied results with Sergio Perez securing 16th position, while Nico Hulkenberg managed a decent 7th grid slot.

The Qualifying session began dry, however, it soon turned into a wet session. The downpour continued in Australia and made it tricky for every driver on track.
The forecast for tomorrow also suggests heavy rains for a short period. This could make for a treacherous race. We wish all the drivers give their best and make it as interesting as possible.
The race begins on 16th, March 2014 at 11:30am IST. Don't miss the opening round at any cost.
