Speedback GT By David Brown Automotive Makes Public Debut
The Speedback GT by David Brown Automotive has made its public debut in Monaco at the Top Marques show. The show was the perfect opportunity to showcase the drop-dead-gorgeous Speedback GT; the new car will be on display until the 20th of April, 2014 and the company has begun accepting orders.
The company founder and CEO, David Brown was present at the public debut to announce the price for the hand-crafted luxury car.
He announced,"I am delighted to announce that the price for Speedback GT will be £495,000, excluding local taxes. The finished cars are the product of thousands of hours of highly skilled, hand-built craftsmanship, and production will be limited to 100 vehicles."
He further added, "Of course with orders now being taken, our team will work closely with purchasers to ensure that their Speedback is as bespoke as they wish - a process only possibly due to the latest low-volume manufacturing techniques we have employed to produce the Speedback."
The Speedback GT will sport a 5.0-litre supercharged engine from Jaguar. The car uses authentic parts by British companies. It is going to be built in Coventry and will be handcrafted by a group of hard working engineers led by Chief Designer Alan Mobberley.
David Brown explains, the Speedback GT has received great interest from almost every country on the globe. They will be showcasing their car first in Monaco and may later showcase it in other parts of the world.
