Chrysler Recalls Dodge Chargers Over Headlight Issue
More than 49,000 Dodge Chargers are being recalled by Chrysler due to an headlight issue.
Chrysler explains the muscle car, could overheat its connector can, which could damage the low-beam headlights.

The issue is with their 2011 and 2012 Dodge Chargers, which are equipped with halogen lamps. They will inspect and replace the headlight wiring for free. It isn't necessary, however, if need be they will replace the bulb as well as assembly.

The Canadian safety body explains, this issue could endanger driver vision and could end up in an accident. The issue is close to what had occurred with the charger cars that Police used, they too were Chargers from 2012.
Chrysler will be recalling 43,450 Dodge Chargers in the U.S. alone. They will also be recalling 2,850 cars from Canada, 2,700 out of North America, along with 375 vehicles from Mexico.
Dodge Charger is a part of Chrysler, it was first showcased in 1964. After which there have been many production vehicles, which were based on various platforms. It is mainly associated as being a tough and rugged cop car.

The current Dodge Charger is available in various engine sizes, however, the biggest being a 6.4 litre Hemi V8 engine, which can generate 470 HP of power.
Dodge Charger are celebrating their Centenary year and in jubilation have launched a 100th anniversary edition.
