Bosch Nashik Facility Employees On Strike
Bosch employees of Nashik facility have gone on strike. The strike has been initiated by the employees union of Nashik facility.
A few of Bosch employees union have gone on a fast, right in front of Labour Commissioner's Office. Their issue is with the money they will receive on early settlement in their wages.

Bosch management has not been able to come to a settlement with the employees union. The issue has been discussed for a while with no result in sight the employees have opted to go on strike.
There have been almost 27 meeting to discuss the issue with the union leaders on their wage agreements. The union is demanding a hike of Rupees 9,800 along with a few other demands.
The wage hike agreement expired in December 31st, 2012; however, from that very moment there have been numerous meetings and discussions held regarding the issue.

The workers are unhappy as Bosch has posted profits after new machinery and an increase in productivity. The company has still not increased the wages or accepted the other demands, which is unfair.
The union has accepted to go back to work provided their demands are guaranteed, specially the wage hike of Rupees 9,800.
A similar strike was observed by Bangalore employees of Bosch last year.
