BMW M6 Gran Coupe; India Launch 3rd April
BMW had earlier displayed their M6 Gran Coupe at the 2014 Auto Expo in India. The German car manufacturer has officially announced that it will be launching the M6 Gran Coupe in India on the 3rd of April.
BMW will get the M6 Gran Coupe to India via the Completely Built Unit(CBU) way. We expect it to be priced over Rupees 1 crore.

The M6 Gran Coupe is based on the 6 Series Gran Coupe, which is already on sale in India. The M6 Gran Coupe is their performance focussed variant of the normal car.
BMW will provide the M6 Gran Coupe with a 4.4 litre V8 mill, it will sport BMW's M TwinPower turbo. It will get a double clutch transmission mated to a seven speed gearbox, along with an active M differential and Drivelogic.
The performance oriented M6 Gran Coupe will develop an exceptional 560 horsepower, along with 680Nm of torque from the M powered engine. It will accelerate from 0 to 100km/h in just 4.2 seconds and will be restricted to a speed of 250km/h. A similar engine is seen in BMW's M5 sportscar.

The M6 Gran Coupe will feature a sporty body kit along with 20" M-spec alloy wheels with the double spoke design. It also gets carbon fibre reinforced plastic(CFRP) roof, Flared wheel arches and a redesigned bumper.
BMW will also add a twin exhaust in the rear, along with CFRP diffuser to add a sporty element to the M6 Gran Coupe.
BMW M6 Gran Coupe will be an attention getter, we believe. However, the main concern is the pricing of the car and how many people will opt for it.
