BMW i8. The flagship model of the newly formed ‘i' BMW sub-brand is an astonishing car in that it is both green and fast. It may not be as green as the Tesla Model S since it is only a hybrid and not pure electric, but its not just gree credentials of the BMW i8 that make it so desirable.

The car was designed to look unlike any other BMW or for that matter any other sports car. The unique design, made up of folds and grooves is universally appealing. Then there is the sports car like performance, without compromising on fuel efficiency.

This incredible machine is headed to India this year and is set to make its debut at the 2014 Auto Expo in Delhi this February. Only 8 will be imported to India, which will make it an extremely rare car in the country. But you don't need to be capable to own one to be curious to know more about the car.
