BMW Experience Tour 2014 Reaches Mumbai
The German luxury car manufacturer BMW is not shy of putting up a show and proving its buyers what their vehicles are capable of. The German marque is organising a ‘BMW Experience Tour' across the nation, that include two separate events - a ‘BMW Dynamic Drive' and ‘BMW xDrive Experience'.
The experience tour will be held in 12 cities of India Mumbai, Pune, Bangalore, Chennai, Kochi, Hyderabad, Lucknow, Kolkata, Ahmedabad, Jaipur, Delhi and Chandigarh. Participants can drive in the 1 Series, 3 Series, 5 Series and 7 Series Sedan by BMW. Among the SAV are X3, X5 and X6 across various off road hurdles.
A special treat has been organised by the BMW group for customers. Individuals will get a couple of laps worth of experience in M powered machinery with a pro driver behind the wheel. Currently it is being held in Thane, Mumbai at Sulochanadevi Singhania School, Pokhran Road Number 1, JK Gram.

The BMW X6 is not only a luxury vehicle it is also a SAV(Sports Activity Vehicle). It has excellent off road capabilities and customers can experience how the power to the wheels is transferred even when one wheel is in the air.

The newly launched X5 was taken on an incline with metal rollers to simulate loss of traction. The SAV detects wheelspin in either front or rear wheels and transfers power to the wheel that has traction. On the decline we test the hill assist mode which controls the pace of the vehicle at a steady 8km/h.

There are two trainers/instructors Malaysian Wong KK and German Frank Schloeder, Director Marketing, BMW India. They are present to give you guidance on how to drive on the track in BMW luxury sedans. They both will be driving M powered vehicles, and will take you for a spin, literally!

This part of the Dynamic Experience is not for the faint of heart. Although if you want to witness first hand the g forces and dynamics of a car while drifting this session is made for you. We enjoyed the sideways action and we guess you too will.

Also present at the event is BMW Motorrad and their bikes along with MINI and its range of vehicles. However, the main attraction is BMW Sedan and SAV. This is the only way a manufacturer can prove what their vehicles are capable of and how tough they are. BMW is doing a great job by promoting the brand through it Experience Tour.
