BMW 3 Series Gran Turismo Made In India Launched
BMW has a visible presence in the Indian market. In their commitment to make their luxury cars more accessible to customers, they will be offering their 3 Series Gran Turismo. This car will be locally manufactured and will attract a price of Rs. 42.75 lakhs.
BMW will roll out their made in India cars from their plant at Mahindra World City, Singaperumal koil, which is near Chennai. The launch of BMW 3 Series Gran Turismo took place in Chennai at their exclusive dealership, KUN exclusive in the city.

The 42.75 lakh price tag will get you a BMW 3 Series Gran Turismo, which will sport a coupe-styled roofline. It will also feature frameless windows and a flowing back.

The new 3 Series Gran Turismo will come with a rear spoiler that is activated automatically when the car reaches a speed of 110 kmph or over. It automatically retracts when the car is travelling below 70 kmph.
BMW Group India President, Philip Von Sahr explains their new 3 Series Gran Turismo will be both sporty and elegant at the same time. The interior of the car will be high on functionality and versatility.

The 3 Series will feature a 2.0 litre twin turbo, four cylinder engine. It will be powered by diesel and will have common rail direct injection. BMW claims the car has a top speed of 226 km/hr and it can do 0 to 100 km/h in 7.9 seconds.
BMW customers will be pleased that the cost of other luxury cars from the German manufacturer may be reduced if locally assembled. It will be great to see if BMW can maintain their standard of luxury, when their 3 Series GT will be manufactured in India.
