Audi A3 Sedan To Be Built In India
Audi has been delivering Indian customers with their cars for a while now. They have now decided to offer their luxurious A3 Sedan to Indians. This car will be manufactured in India.
The A3 sedan is expected to go on sale in India by mid of 2014. Audi will assemble the car from their facility in Aurangabad.
The German car manufacture will begin local assembly of A3 sedan from launch date itself. They expect this car to sell in high numbers and increase the companies growth.

Audi will be locally assembling the A3 sedan in a selected few countries and India will be among them.
The A3 luxury sedan will be available in US markets later next month; however, it is already on sale in European countries.
Audi Group CEO Rupert Stadler believes India is an important market for their future. There is good opportunity for growth in the luxury car segment in India.

Audi begun assembling the A6 in India during 2007. They also assemble A4,A6,Q3,Q5 and Q7 from their Aurangabad facility. They have so far produced 24,000 plus units since 2007.
Audi reported a sales growth of 11% in 2013, they sold 10,002 vehicles. In the previous year 2012 they managed to sell 9,003 vehicles in India.
The German based company is the only manufacturer to sell more than 10,000 vehicles in a year, in India.
