Audi S3 Cabriolet Launching Soon
Audi S3 Cabriolet is by far the hottest compact convertible to be launched. It will join the S3 Sedan and Hatch that are already doing well. When launched expected it to be priced at around $75,000.
The Audi S3 Cabriolet will generate its power through a turbocharged 2.0-litre four-cylinder gasoline engine. Which will produce 221kW at 5500-6200 rpm and 380 Nm of torque.

The Cabriolet will not sport a manual option however, it will feature a six-speed, S tronic' dual-clutch automatic transmission. This distributes drive to all four wheels through Audi's quattro all-wheel drive system.
The German manufacturer states the car does naught to 100 km/hr in 5.4 seconds. It claims the cabriolet will consume 7.1 litres per 100km.
The Cabriolet weighs heavier owing to extra strengthening components, a soft top and an active rollover system for safety. Audi claims their roof will open or close in 18 seconds. You can open it while driving however, up to a speed of 50 Km/hr. It will be available in three color choices.
The German manufacturer has tweaked the chassis, addition of firmer springs and dampers, along with larger anti roll bars. It will be 25mm lower than A3 soft top. The front will get larger 340mm disc brakes. The cabriolet will get 18" alloy wheels however, there will be option to switch to 19".
The Audi S3 Cabriolet will debut at Geneva motor show and will be available in showrooms by June however, expect deliveries by November.
