Audi Plans For Bigger SUV No Small Cars Currently
BMW had recently announced that it would be working on a bigger SUV in their X-range, which could be called the X7. Their German rival, Audi, could not let them get away so easily hence, they too are thinking of a new SUV (their biggest so far), which they could call the Q9.
Audi believes majority of its sales will come from their SUV range. They will be concentrating more on their Q range to make their product line even stronger than it currently is. The German manufacturer expects that it's Q range will account for 45% of total Audi sales by 2020.
The German car manufacturer has also stated that there is no need for Audi to develop a vehicle below the A1. They would not be going lower than their current A1 model. So do not expect Audi to prepare a small car anytime in the near future.

Audi has also confirmed when the are ready with their Q9 it will be offered with an e-tron plug-in hybrid system. It will be placed well in the competition against luxury SUV manufacturer that are going to join, like Lamborghini Urus and Bentley's SUV. The Four Ring manufacturer hasn't confirmed how big an engine will power their flagship Q9 SUV.

Audi currently offers the Q3, Q5 and Q7 in their SUV range and is looking to growing its product line. They are also planning to fill the gaps between their SUV model by offering new Q4, Q6 and also a Q8.
It will be crucial to see if Audi will focus all their resources only on their SUV range or also prepare more sedans and saloons in the future. However, we would like it very much if Audi could offer more SUVs in the sub-continent.
