Honda ASIMO And Obama Bend It Like Beckham

President of the United States of America, Barack Obama has been in Japan since 24th of April, 2014. The President was visited by a special guest from Honda's headquarters.

President Barack Obama was greeted in English by ASIMO. Honda's smartest robot said, "Mr. President, I am ASIMO, a humanoid robot. It is a pleasure to meet you."

ASIMO later entertained the United States of America President by showing him some of the skills he has learnt over the years. ASIMO showcased his special moves which, included running, jumping and kicking a ball too.

Honda's ASIMO explained President Obama what are his future plans,"I keep training every day so that someday in the future I can help people in their homes." The Japanese company has been working on their robotic research, which will help and live beside us.

There is a reason why Honda has named its most advanced robot ASIMO. The name is short for Advanced Step in Innovative Mobility. The Japanese company designed ASIMO in 2000. Close to 14 years have passed and many changes have been brought about.

Honda is developing ASIMO to help people who lack full mobility. He is four-feet, three inched tall and weighs 48 kilograms. He travels to various countries for various types of demonstrations that include solving math, talking to people in local languages, even run or play football.
