Ariel Launches Atom 3.5R
Ariel Motors is based in UK and are famous for their erratic and powerful Atom 3.5. They have now launched an even more powerful version of their current car, The Atom 3.5R. The Ariel Atom is no ordinary car. It has an exoskeleton chassis along with open wheels and no wind screen to protect the occupants from the elements.
The Atom 3.5R is powered by a Honda 2.0-litre 4-cylinder, petrol engine. It produces 350 horsepower along with 243 lb-ft of peak torque. The engine also has a bigger supercharger to get the maximum power from the engine. It also sports larger cooler systems along with oil coolers that are placed on either sides of the cockpit.

The latest creation by Ariel Motors, Atom 3.5R can achieve a top speed of 155 mph. It propels the car from o to 60 mph in just 2.6 seconds, while 100 mph comes up in six seconds flat. The car delivers power to the rear wheels through their new sequential race-bred transmission from Sadev.
It has a 6-speed gearbox with paddle shifters behind the steering wheel. It only takes 40 milliseconds to upshift a gear, and only 50 milliseconds to go a gear down.

The car is fast owing to its lightweight design as well as the minimalist nature. It weighs approximately 550 kilograms and has a power to weight ratio of 636 horsepower per ton.
The Atom 3.5R will also receive other significant upgrades like Ohlins suspension for maximum adjustments. The individual who opt for the car can alter the Atom to their specifications. You can ask for special bodywork, tyres as well as brakes can be upgraded.
The Ariel Atom 3.5R will be available by the end of this year and will attract a price tag of 64,800 Pounds.
