2015 Volkswagen Jetta Revealed; Launch Expected Soon
Volkswagen India has recently updated its hatchback the Polo and will be soon launching facelifts in its entire range. The German automobile giant had revealed its facelifted Jetta for international markets and have confirmed to get it to India soon.
The 2015 Jetta will get interior as well as exterior upgrades from Volkswagen. The German based manufacturer will offer more creature comforts in its updated model. It is expected to be available in a more powerful GT option as well.
The 2015 Jetta was revealed first at the New York Auto Show in April, 2014. It sported better aerodynamics, redesigned front end along with bumpers and boasted of improved fuel efficiency. The sedan by Volkswagen has been redesigned to give it a sleek and aerodynamic profile.

The redesigned Jetta for 2015 will sport an aerodynamic lip on its boot. The tail lamps and bumper have been revamped for a more modern appeal. The 2015 sedan will also sport Blind Spot Detection along with Rear Traffic Alert.
The 2015 Jetta will be available with two engine options a petrol and diesel in different tunes. Volkswagen will provide its petrol Jetta with a 1.4-litre TSI engine, which will produce 125 horsepower and will be mated to a 6-speed manual. The same engine will be tuned to extract 150 horsepower and will be paired to either a 6-speed manual or 7-speed DSG unit.

The diesel will be available with a 2.0-litre TDI mill with two state of tunes. The first will churn out 110 horsepower and will be paired to 5-speed manual or 7-speed DSG transmission. The second tune on offer will produce 150 horsepower and will be coupled to either a 6-speed manual or 6-speed DSG transmission.
Volkswagen will not launch the Jetta in India this year and is expected early next year. when, launched the 2015 Jetta is expected to cost roughly around INR 12,00,000 to INR 18,00,000 ex-showroom. We will provide you with more information as it is available.
