2015 Volkswagen E-Golf Revealed In Pics
Volkswagen has revealed to us their new electric car the E-Golf, which they plan to launch in the coming year of 2015. Their new car is not a hybrid it is an electric car. It will be sold alongside its conventional siblings the standard Golf, the I and its racy hot hatch Golf R.
Volkswagen E-Golf will face competition from the likes of Ford and their Focus Electric and Nissan's Leaf. It may also compete with Chevrolet's Spark EV, Fiat 500E as well as Honda's Fit EV.

The Volkswagen E-Golf will feature an electric motor, which will produce 114 Hp of power and will be powered by a 24.2 kWh lithium-ion battery. These specs are currently for Europe and could be retained if got here too.

Volkswagen will be launching their E-Golf in 2015. It will be a fully electric car and won't be a hybrid. It was showcased earlier in the month at Geneva Motor Show 2014.

The Volkswagen E-Golf will sport C-shaped daytime running lights. The E-Golf badging will be beside headlights. To distinguish the car from conventional engines, it will sport a blue line across the VW logo.

The E-Golf looks similar to other VW Golf's, however, visible difference will be the aerodynamic looking wheels.

The Back end of Volkswagen E-Golf has a trendy looking taillamp cluster with LED lights in it. It won't feature exaust pipes as it is an electric car and not a hybrid vehicle.

Volkswagen have done a great job in keeping the conventional Golf design, while still incorporating an electric engine. The German car manufacturer claims their car can do naught to 62 mph in 10.4 seconds, which is not bad at all.
