2015 Nissan Murano Revealed Prior To New York Debut
Nissan first launched their Murano crossover in 2002. The Japanese manufacturer now will be introducing a new 2015 model of the crossover. The Murano will debut at the New York Auto Show.
The Japanese giant has revealed their Murano prior to it's launch. This is the third-gen Murrano crossover and will be more sportier than the earlier versions.
Nissan had earlier showcased the Murano as a concept car called Resonance. Thankfully, they have retained most of the interesting design cues from the concept car.

Powering the 2015 Murano will be Nissan's 3.5 litre V6 engine. It will produce 240 lb. ft of torque and 260 horsepower. The car will be mainly offered with front-wheel-drive and a CVT gearbox.
Nissan has also confirmed they will manufacture their 2015 Murano not in Japan, but Canton, Mississippi. The car will be available towards the end of 2014.
Nissan has given the 2015 Murano an all new front end, which they call V-Motion. They have also added a floating roof to the crossover and claim that the new Murano is more aerodynamic than the previous model. It will also feature headlights in the shape of a boomerang.

Andy Palmer, chief planning officer and executive vice president, Nissan Motor Co. Ltd, "At Nissan, we create concept vehicles with an eye toward production, rather than just for entertaining auto show audiences."
He further added,"Likely few people who saw Resonance in its North American International Auto Show debut imagined that we could build such a futuristic design. But here it is, ready to hit Nissan showrooms less than 24 months later."
