2015 Mini John Cooper Works Is The Most Powerful Till Date
Mini had recently launched their new 3-door and 5-door models in India. Now the British manufacturer has decided to showcase its most powerful model till date. It is the 2015 Mini John Cooper Works, which is their power packed hatchback.
The British based manufacturer will showcase its 2015 John Cooper Works model at the Detroit Auto Show in January, 2015. Mini has, however, confirmed this model will go on sale not before April, 2015 and will be priced at INR 22,32,719 in UK.
The Mini John Cooper Works will be powered by a 2.0-litre turbo engine. It will produce 228 bhp, along with 320 Nm of peak torque. They offer an optional 6-speed manual or 6-speed automatic transmission. The hatchback can sprint from 0 to 100 kph in 6.3 seconds.

The Mini gets an all new body kit, which makes the bumper look bulkier than normal. It also gets a hood scoop to provide sufficient air-flow into the engine bay. It gets a special red and black paint scheme. They have also provided a unique grille upfront.
From the side view the most prominent element visible is the John Cooper Works 17-inch alloy wheels. Individuals will have the choice of choosing an 18-inch alloy wheels as well. It gets very little chrome embellishment and a sporty avatar, rather than the classic persona.
The sporty details continue in the rear with dual exhaust ports. 2015 Mini John Cooper Works continues the red and black livery. The rear bumper has been redesigned to give the hatchback a more dominating presence compared to the stock 3-door Mini.
The sporty avatar continues within the cabin as well. The British based manufacturer has provided bucket seats with black Alcantara leather with red accent. They have also included steel foot pedals, three-spoke steering wheel, revamped gear knob and an all new instrument console.
The 2015 Mini John Cooper Works body has been optimised for maximum aerodynamics. It gets a specially designed JCW rear spoiler with standout side sill and rear apron.
The 2015 Mini John Cooper Works is the sportiest and most powerful hatchback manufactured by the manufacturer. It will be on sale from April, 2015 for INR 22,32,719 in UK. We are not sure if this model will be offered in India as well.
