2014 Volkswagen Polo Launch Confirmed For 15th July
There has been rumors and reports about German automobile manufacturer Volkswagen, introducing a refreshed version of Polo. The dealerships have begun taking booking of the new vehicle, as Volkswagen has confirmed the 2014 Polo hatchback will be launched on 15th July, 2014.
The new Volkswagen Polo will sport a new 1.5-litre diesel powered engine. This will help the German manufacturer in better pricing of its hatchback, due to the taxation structure. There is no change to petrol powered engines and will have the same 1.2-litre mill. However, Volkswagen will tweak the engine for improved fuel efficiency.
The 2014 Polo hatchback will get significant design updates from the German manufacturer. It will borrow several design elements from the Euro spec model. The headlamps will be redesigned, front grille will get a single chrome strip, bumpers will be also get a new design and fog lamps will also be repositioned. The hatchback will get new colour options, along with new sporty alloy wheels.

The interior of Polo hatchback will also get significant updates. The steering wheel will get a new three spoke design with audio controls mounted on it. The 2014 version will also sport climate control, along with new air-con vents. we also expect a new colours of seat fabrics as well as dashboard.
All these updates will also be incorporated in its more power packed version of Polo GT hatchback. However, on July 15th Volkswagen will launch only its Polo and not its GT version. The German manufacturer is expected to launch the GT variant of the Polo later on this year.
