Peugeot 308 SW At 2014 Geneva Motor Show

The Geneva Motor Show is a great place to showcase cars and Peugeot have showcased their SW variant of 308. The station wagon will be on sale summer onwards.

The new model will weigh 140kgs lesser than earlier gen-models. This will help the station wagon in better performance numbers.The Peugeot 308 SW will feature many petrol and diesel engine options. These engines will range between 92 hp up to 155 hp.

The BlueHDi with a 1.6 litre engine, producing 120 hp of power, Peugeot claims can deliver a fuel economy of 3.2 litres per 100km. These are great figures if are really achieved by the 308 SW.

Peugeot 308 SW 2014

The new 2014 Peugeot 308 SW was revealed at 2014 Geneva Motor Show. This is a station wagon version of the hatchback 308 by Peugeot. The car will go on sale this year in summer.

The front end of Peugeot looks simple yet stylish. The Peugeot logo has a special place over its hood. Headlamps are mixed with LED daytime running lights along with projector lights. The engine vents get chrome embellishment to uplift styling.

The 308 SW is longer by 327mm, which increases legroom and is more comfortable inside. The roof rails add a sporty element along with alloy wheels that are designed like a star. Chrome treatment has been added around the windows.

The back is prominent owing to bigger boot space. Tail lamp cluster is shaped in a C-design. Simple yet stylish is focussed and achieved by Peugeot.

2014 Peugeot 308 SW Interiors

The all black interior with brushed aluminum inserts look premium. The steering wheel is well padded and is not round, Peugeot believes their design is better to maneuver. Instrument cluster is clear and large. Infotainment system is well placed with Air-con vents around it.
