2014 Nissan Sunny Facelift Coming In June
Nissan had showcased the new facelifted Sunny at the 2014 Auto Expo in New Delhi. The Japanese manufacturer will be giving its sedan a cosmetic makeover in an attempt to make it more attractive to buyers. We expect Nissan to launch the 2014 facelift Sunny in the latter part of June.
The facelifted Sunny sedan will get a makeover both on the outside as well as inside. The grille will look more premium with plenty of chrome to match the huge headlights. The foglamps have a unique housing design and will be highlighted with chrome accents.
Nissan have redesigned the front bumper and looks more elegant and subtle. The have also worked on the side profile of the vehicle, the OVRMs will electrically adjustable. The car will drive on new alloy wheels and the wheel arches are flared to give it a more imposing look.
The rear end of Sunny gets a redesigned bumper along with black plastic inserts. Other than that they haven't fiddled a lot with the rear section of the sedan. The interiors of Sunny gets an all new piano black console. It will also feature a new entertainment system with USB and Bluetooth.
The Japanese manufacturer will, however, not touch the engine and will offer the same options. The diesel powered engine will sport a 1.5-litre K9K engine, which can produce 85 PS.
The petrol powered engine will be 1.5-litre mill that will generate 98 PS. Nissan will offer the Sunny sedan with either a manual gearbox or an XTRONIC CVT transmission.
Nissan will be focusing on the safety of its occupants and will provide the 2014 Sunny sedan with Anti Lock Braking System(ABS) along with an airbag for the driver as standard equipment. The Japanese manufacturer will also offer side airbags for the Sunny however, it will be available only in the top-end trim.
