2014 Mahindra Scorpio Caught Testing
Mahindra India has been caught testing the new version of the Scorpio. Here are a few images we took while driving around. We caught the upcoming SUV in camouflage.
We noticed the 2014 Scorpio sported redesigned headlights and projector lamps. The front grille has also been redesigned to give it a more modern look compared to the aging design of the previous model.
The hood retains an engine air scoop, but we could not notice distinct body lines on the hood. However, we expect it to be sculpted to give it muscular front end. The alloy wheels on the new Scorpio looks more trendy and sporty.

The rear gets the most attention in the facelift. Mahindra India has redesigned the tail lights and now sports a D-shape brake indicator. It also features a rear spoiler and redesigned rear bumper. Overall not much has changed, however, it will look modern and of this era.
Most of the upgrades will be within the cabin of the 2014 Scorpio. It will have more modern and updated technology within the cabin. The dashboard is expected to be revamped and will feel more premium. It will also sport rear air conditioning vents.

Mahindra will also provide the new Scorpio with a touchscreen infotainment system. The SUV will also feature rear parking sensors, and it will get new buttons and steering mounted audio controls. The quality of plastic used within the cabin will be improved for better feel.
Mahindra have not confirmed the launch of their new Scorpio, however, we expect it to be soon. The refreshed SUV will be priced aggressively and close to the current model. Let us know if you like the 2014 facelifted Scorpio by Mahindra.
