2014 Fiat Punto Evo Launch On 5th August, 2014
Italian four wheeler giant Fiat currently offers only two products in India. The first offering is a sedan, the Linea, and they also offer a hatchback called the Punto. They have given its Linea a facelift and tomorrow on the 5th of August, they will launch the refreshed Punto Evo in Delhi.
Fiat will follow the launch of its Punto Evo in Bangalore and Mumbai on the 8th of August, 2014. The refreshed version of the Italian hatchback gets several design changes to suit the Indian market. Interiors and exterior of the vehicle has been spruced up to attract buyers.

The Punto Evo will be available in both petrol as well as diesel options. Fiat will continue offering its engine in different tunes. The Italian carmaker will offer a 1.2-litre petrol engine, which will produce 96 Nm of peak torque along with a maximum power of 67 bhp. It will also offer a 1.4-litre petrol engine producing 90 horsepower and 115 Nm of peak torque.

Fiat will also offer two options for its diesel powered vehicles. There will be a single 1.3-litre diesel mill, available in two different tunes. The first will be a frugal tune producing 76 horsepower and 197 Nm of torque. The second will be the more sporty 90 horsepower variant, that generates 209 Nm of peak torque.

The interior has been revamped to a black with off white soft touch material, while the 90 HP model of Punto Evo gets an all-black interior. All the new Punto Evos will get sporty bucket type seats. The rear occupants will also get an air-conditioner vent.
