Volvo Concept XC Coupe Revealed
Volvo has revealed the Concept XC Coupe, a concept car that's based on the automaker's Scalable Platform Architecture (SPA). The Concept XC Coupe will be showcased at the Detroit Auto Show in early January 2014.

Volvo Concept XC Coupe will play an important role for future Volvo models, including the all new XC90 that will arrive in late 2014. The new vehicles will feature design elements that will be previewed with the Concept XC Coupe. This is evident from the fact that Volvo considers it's XC-badged vehicles to be the backbone of its lineup.
The Concept XC Coupe is, in fact, the second of the three design studies Volvo has planned. The first was the Concept Coupe that was revealed at the Frankfurt Auto Show earlier this year, showcasing it's SPA platform. These design studies are the creation of Volvo's new senior vice-president of design, Thomas Ingenlath.
According to Volvo, the Concept XC Coupe will feature the automaker's famed safety technology, as well as its traditional Scandinavian design elements. More details about the Concept XC Coupe will be revealed on January 8, 2014.
