Upcoming Cars In India; New Car Launches Scheduled
Did you think fuel prices, always eager to touch new heights, fresh duty on automobiles and the generally weaker global auto industry would negatively influence the launch of new cars in India? You could not have been more mistaken. In fact, it seems to be the opposite.

Indians have been expecting brand Jeep to make its ‘Grand' re-entry into India for more than a year now. The Grand Cherokee was expected to arrive in India in late 2013. That seems unlikely now. Maruti Suzuki's planned replacement for the SX-4, the Ciaz, showcased in Delhi in February, is based on the Authentics concept and was recently previewed in Beijing where it is called the Alivio. The Ciaz will be powered by a 1.5-litre 16-valve, four cylinder petrol engine and will sport a newly developed six-speed automatic transmission. The car measures 4,545 mm long and the focus will be on ample interior space and legroom.
