Toyota Recalls Lexus Vehicles: The Culprit Exposed
Toyota is noted for their mammoth recalls. The Japanese company has issued a recall for Lexus cars, which is the luxury vehicle division of the automaker. Toyota is recalling about 2,500 Lexus vehicles across Australia and about 370,000 vehicles worldwide. It is noted, these vehicles have a few rough spots, which would cause the cars to stop mid-journey.
A deep-seated observation has uprooted rough spots in the car's hybrid system. Toyota engineers believe, the hybrid system may overheat while driving, resulting in damages that may cause the vehicle to stop.

What is a hybrid system?
"A hybrid system fuses different power sources to pump-up each one's strength, while balancing the others' deficiency. For example, a gasoline-hybrid electric system, fuses an internal combustion engine's high-speed power with the clean efficiency and low-speed torque of an electric motor that at no time needs to be plugged in"
Now back to the recall: In Australia, about 1,750 RX400Hs manufactured between 2006 and 2008 are being recalled. Also, 750 Lexus IS350s built between April 2010 and July 2011 are involved in the recall. The Lexus IS350s are being recalled due to a loose pinning valve-control system inside the engine.
So far, no fender benders or injuries have been reported as a result of the problems. Toyota is directly in touch with the owners and carrying out the repairs free of cost.
