Toyota Camry Hybrid Launched In India; Price 29.75 Lakhs

Toyota has launched its second hybrid offering in India, the Camry Hybrid, which is also the only hybrid car available in India apart from Toyota Prius. Camry Hybrid is also the first hybrid car to be assembled in the country and the 9th country where it is manufactured.

This has helped Toyota price Camry Hybrid at a competitive INR 28.75 lakhs. The hybrid luxury sedan will be top variant in its lineup and also offers several first in the class features. The car will be manufactured at Toyota's Bidadi plant, near Bangalore. Find the details below.

Engine

Camry Hybrid is powered by two power sources - a 158 HP 2.5 liter beltless petrol engine and a 44 HP electric motor, delivering an impressive combined power output of 202 HP. The engine is mated to an Electronically Controlled Continuously Variable Transmission (E-CVT).

Fuel efficiency and emission

Thanks to the electric motor Camry Hybrid delivers a class leading mileage of 19.16 kmpl. CO2 emission figure is as low as 122.8g/km.

Camry Hybrid comes with a total of 35 enhancements. The car will be available in four colours - grey metallic, white pearl crystal shine ,silver metallic and attitude black.
