In the video Chris Porritt, Tesla's VP of vehicle engineering explains how the electric motor in the Model S can be used to evenly heat up the entire car, preventing it from freezing. Furthermore, a smartphone app can used to preset the temperature inside a Model S so that by the time you are ready to leave for work your Model S is warm and cozy.
The video also speaks about the advanced traction control system in the Model S, which Porritt says, makes all wheel drive unnecessary, to manage the car even on slippery roads.
The video has some cool footage of Model S performing maneuvers on snow in Northern Europe to instill confidence in Tesla owners.
