Tata Safari Storme Bookings Cross 6,000 units

The Tata Safari Storme has indeed raised a storm of bookings for Tata Motors. The latest premium SUV from Tata Motors has garnered more than6,000 bookings since its launch. The new Safari was first launched in north India and was recently launched in Bangalore.

Now the Safari Storme has been launched in the state of Tamil Nadu. Tata Motors has launched the Safari Storme in Chennai with a starting price of INR 9.95 lakhs. Tata Motors head (utility vehicle product group) Ashesh Dhar has revealed the Safari Storme's booking details in Chennai.

Tata Motors is holding a staggered launch of the Safari Storme. Demand for the new SUV is increasing steadily and the company is looking at expanding production to meet demand.

Tamil Nadu is an important market for Tata Motors as 17% of its SUV sales are generated from the state. The Sumo Gold has enjoyed a huge success and Tata Motors is hoping the new Safari Storme will also repeat the same performance.

Tata Motors will continue to sell the previous generation Safari powered by the Dicor diesel engine. The Safari Storme offers better refinement and sporty performance when compared with the regular Safari. However, the Safari is a cheaper alternative priced at INR 8.44 lakhs.
