passenger
vehicles
in
March
2013
were
72,712
vehicles.
The
company's
domestic
sales
of
Tata
commercial
and
passenger
vehicles
for
March
2013
were
69,160
nos.
Cumulative sales (including exports) for the company for the fiscal were 810,086 nos.
Commercial
Vehicles
The
company's
sales
of
commercial
vehicles
in
March
2013
in
the
domestic
market
were
56,813
nos.,
the
highest
monthly
sales
in
FY
12-13.
LCV
sales
were
41,961
nos.,
while
M&HCV
sales
stood
at
14,852
nos.
The
Tata
Pick-Ups
(Tata
Super
Ace,
Tata
Xenon
and
Tata
207)
recorded
highest
ever
monthly
sales
at
6,981
nos.
Tata
SCVs
(Tata
Ace
and
Tata
Magic
range)
recorded
highest
ever
monthly
sales
at
29,960
nos.
Cumulative
sales
of
commercial
vehicles
in
the
domestic
market
for
the
fiscal
were
537,143
nos.
Cumulative
LCV
sales
were
393,762
nos.,
while
M&HCV
sales
stood
at
143,381
nos.
During
this
year,
7
new
advanced
commercial
vehicles
-
Tata
Xenon
Pick-up,
a
stylish
and
rugged
workhorse,
the
Tata
LPT
3723,
the
first
5-axle
rigid
truck
in
the
country,
in
the
10x4
configuration,
the
Tata
PRIMA
4938
tractor,
the
Tata
PRIMA
3138K
tipper,
the
Tata
PRIMA
4923
&
Tata
PRIMA
4023
tractor
and
the
Tata
LPK
3118
tipper
were
launched.
The
company
introduced
the
Telematics
&
Fleet
Management
Service,
which
offers
advanced
Telematics
solutions,
which
enable
remote
vehicle
tracking
services
of
fleet
vehicles,
thereby
increasing
productivity
and
profitability.
The
'Tata
Alert',
a
highway
assistance
programme
for
medium
and
heavy
commercial
vehicles,
was
also
introduced,
to
ensure
that
drivers
receive
on-site
breakdown
assistance
within
4
hours.
Passenger
Vehicles
Sales
of
passenger
vehicles
for
March
2013
were
at
12,347
nos.
Sales
of
the
Nano/
Indica/
Indigo
range
in
March
2013
were
8,903
nos.
The
Sumo/
Safari/
Aria/
Venture
range
sales
were
3,444
nos.
Cumulative sales of passenger vehicles were 222,112 nos. Cumulative sales of the Nano/ Indica/ Indigo range were at 174,692 nos. Cumulative sales of the Sumo/Safari/ Aria/ Venture range were 47,420 nos.
During this year, Tata Motors launched the all new Tata Vista D90, an advanced & dynamic car, Tata Safari Storme, the Real SUV, the Tata Manza, a Club Class sedan the Tata Aria Pure LX, the Nano Special Edition and the Tata Indica eV2, the most fuel efficient hatchback in-its-class.
Tata Motors also introduced state-of-the-art new-look company-owned showrooms in Mumbai (Prabhadevi) and New Delhi (South Extension), with best-in-class services for superior customer experience. This format will be rolled out across the country in the coming months.
