Tata Safari Storme Explorer Edition Launched For Rs 10.86 Lakhs
Tata Motors has launched the standalone Safari Storme Explorer Edition. The Explorer Edition kit was first revealed by Tata Motors at the Horizonext event held in June,
The Explorer Edition Safari Storme comes with additional features, but keeps the powertrain unchanged. The asking price for the special Safari Storme is INR 10.86 lakhs. It should also be noted that you can equip your regular Safari Storme with the Explorer Edition kit for Rs 57,000.

Safari Storme is powered by the same 2.2 liter VariCOR turbo diesel engine with Variable Turbine Technology. The engine is rated at 140 PS power & 320 NM torque
Performance & Mileage
The engine is mated to a 5 speed manual. The transmission is combined with ESOF (electronic shift on the fly) technology, which lets the driver shift from all-wheel to two wheel drive on the move. The diesel engine can take you from 0 - 100km/hr in about 15 sec. The engine is good for 14 kmpl.
