Smart ForTwo Special Edition21 For Just 79 Pounds
Smart has introduced a special edition version of its ForTwo microcar, called Edition21 in the United Kingdom. The highlight of the car is the special financing scheme Smart offers to customer. The ForTwo Edition21 can be either be purchased or be leased for a period of 3 years, with a monthly charge of £79 (Rs 6594 or 93 Euros). Furthermore, the ‘21' in the name refers to the an year of free Motor Insurance available for owners over 21 years old.
"Smart has always pioneered, whether it's city motoring, electric drive, or big car safety in a tiny package. Now, we've taken those virtues and created a special package that offers customers a new car for £79 per month and one year's free Motor Insurance. This car isn't a stripped-out special, though. Like every smart it's still super-stylish, is packed with equipment and has a full complement of safety systems as standard," said Gary Savage, Managing Director of Mercedes-Benz.
The 71 HP Smart ForTwo Edition21 is based on the Pulse trim level and can be differentiated from the regular ForTwo by the black tridion safety cell, black mirror caps, the 15-inch alloy wheels, LED daytime running lights and of course the "Edition21" logos. The Edition21 will also be available in choices of black and white body panels and an optional white tridion safety cell.
On the inside, the special edition gets cup holders, faux leather fabric upholstery, leather covered steering wheel and paddle shifters.
For those who prefer to buy the limited edition Smart ForTwo Edition21 the price will be £9,575 (INR 7.99 lakhs or 11,330 Euros) for the Coupe, and £11,075 (INR 9.24 lakhs or 13,010 Euros) for the Cabrio.
